Unfortunately the end of February saw the resignation of Alan. We wish him God's blessing as he continues to work at his new job in Gorgie. This leaves us with a space for a new Chaplain - again if you're interested in volunteering for 4 hours a week in Cameron Toll shopping centre (that leaves you plenty of time for some retail therapy after!) click on the HUGE blue button under vacancy in this blog.
On a more exciting note - we have appointed a new Chairperson to keep us all under control! This person, which is a first for the Chaplaincy, is a lovely lady namely Janet Sidaway who worships at St Peter's Episcopal Church in Lutton Place. Now what do we call her - apart from Janet? Chairperson? Chairlady? Or how about just Chair? Whatever the name tag we welcome you on board Janet and hope you enjoy the challege.

COLIN LEAVES FOR PASTURES NEW :(
Just to bring you up to date -
You will have seen by the message below that we are looking for 2 new Chaplains.
The reason? Our Chaplain Colin has left us to follow his change of career - he's going to study to become a Community Development Officer. He's cramming a 3 year course into one.
As sure is he can be this career in community development is what God wants him to pursue and he says 'I doubt that this would have become clear to me without my involvement in the chaplaincy.' Lovely to hear that! It's been lovely to work along side him.
We thank Colin for all he did in his year with us, and of course wish him Gods richest blessing in his new career.
Colin - Thanks for all you've done
So if you feel you'd like to apply for the Chaplains posts please go to the Job Vacancy at the right of the blog & apply by clicking the HUGE blue button!

CTC says cheerio to Chaplain Rosemary
We're just updating our blog with the sad news that as from 30th June 2011 our Chaplain Rosemary Davidson is having to resign due to ill health. We're sorry to see her go and hope that her health continues to to improve. We want to thank her for all she's done for the Chaplaincy since joining us in July 2009.
This means that after the summer Cameron Toll Chaplaincy will be on the look out for someone to step into Rosemary's shoes. So if you know of someone who might be interested in becoming a voluntary Chaplain please ask them to contact

We will be advertising the post in mid August and interviews will take place in October. The person who takes over will be introduced to everyone interested in CTC and supporting churches in SEECAT & NCT at our AGM in November.
Please continue to pray for the Chaplaincy as we seek a replacement for Rosemary.
